16 missed calls today from number that I have blocked as I have received multiple calls of an aggressive manner when I kindly refused to signing back up to sky...even went so far as calling me a bad mother for allowing YouTube to manipulate my children. I am advising all of my friends and family to boycott their sky services as this behaviour is unacceptable

I received a call from this number today. Having Googled it, I was suspicious. So, I called what I know to be a 100% genuine Sky number. The representative there confirmed to me that it is in fact a genuine company calling on behalf of Sky. He was even able to tell me the time and duration of the call that I had received earlier (odd though it may have seemed at the time).

I have repeatedly received calls from this number over the last two weeks, sometimes multiple times a day. Today, out of curiosity, I answered the call. A Northern Irish guy told me, as a Sky customer, they were offering me a special deal on ultra-fibre broadband. To set it up, he just needed to access my account and could I share my password and mother's maiden name. I then ended the call. It's a complete scam.

Someone with a Northern Ireland accent called claiming to be from Sky and wanted to know if interested in Sky VIP, he didn't give a name but he knew my first name. Suspected it was a scam, said I wasn't interested and ended the call.

Be aware! This is definitely a scam! They said they had offers to reduce my broadband costs and asked for my information. When I promptly said they had called me so I wouldn't confirm anything they finished the call. (Note: Called me at 6:45 pm.)

Repeated calls. Original call was unsolicited, to try to set up Sky Glass payment plan. Asked for my name at start of conversation. Then aroused suspicion when he pressured me into committing to 24 month or 48 month payment plan, and sought credit card info.

Called regarding a complaint sent to Sky and the person on the line was friendly. I suspect this is an outsourced call centre for Sky (used to be Abtran) which is why people are getting calls at 6 pm (the inbound calls end so outbound can happen). Also why Sky wouldn't have a record themselves as the CRM system is likely different. These centres would also do customer retention and attempt to reach former customers.

Called me at 18.29 this evening , it's a Friday, claiming to be from sky offering me TV channels and Netflix all for 20 euro a month and that he would post out the box In the post that there was no need for a technician. Find hard to believe will be calling sky directly tomorrow.

Caller asked for my name, address and sky password. He wouldn't tell me what the call was about so he had no proof of who he was. I said I would call Sky directly to help me with my problem.

Cold call from Sky. Told me they could go through promotions available to me then started asking me asking me to confirm details. Name and address was one thing but then asked for digits from my IBAN. I queried why this was needed and he got a bit thick with me saying he needed it go through promotions available. I said it was a bit much when HE was cold calling me. He said I could terminate the call. Which I did. Lucky for Sky I am otherwise happy with the service I receive from them

Left them 8 months ago due to moving house and told them I was leaving because my new landlord wouldn't allow the satellite dish and they still harassed me a few months later and I eventually answered them and told them this again and they said no problem we'll take you off the calling list and just now I have a missed call from them would never go back to sky don't even miss it.

Caller claimed to be from Sky offering a deal for existing customers, but to confirm I was who I said I was asked me to provide certain details including my password and security question. I refused and they ended the call.

Called to ask why i'd left them...18 months ago! I pointed out they were asking 18 months too late and they carried on as if it was totally normal to harrass an ex customer after all this time. Then told me i needed more channels cause my current free package wasn't good enough. Told them it was and ended the call.
