Called around 8pm. Polite guy on the phone. Said questions would be about COVID-19, gardening and something else. I agreed to answer (with caution) anyway he asked my age and what county I lived in. Told him and then he said thanks but that they already had enough surveys within my age group for my county.

Called from IPSOS asked if I would do a survey. Currently in COVID-19 lockdown so I agreed to do it. General questions about social media, house marketing, flower purchases and some basic financial questions that I preferred not to answer. The lad on the phone was polite and understanding when I didn't want to answer the financial questions. No personal details taken etc.

A man phoned 8.30 pm Wednesday, spoke quickly and said Ipsos and MRBI, and he wanted me to answer questions. When I asked what those letters stood for he said he wasn’t sure but it’s a French company. When I asked how he got my number he said it was random. I told him he had no right to call my private number and disturb me, and it must never happen again. He replied it wouldn’t because he would put my number on “a list”. Then he quickly said “have a nice day” and hung up. I have blocked the Irish number he called from: 353 1706 1100.
