Indian Man rang claiming to be from 3, Knew every detail about me and my top up history. Strangely knew too much and never asked me to verify my own details. I went along with all questions until they asked for banking information. That raised an alarm. Any business would never ask for banking over the phone. Its scam warning no 1. He was trying to get me to switch to bill pay at a discount. Seems like it is a 3 genuine number but masked.

This is a scam. Three would never use the network of another telecom operator rather than their own one. 061 landline is owned by "Eir" not Three.

missed several calls from this number, once or twice they hung up when i answered. Finally one time when I answered the phone rang for a second and was answered by a guy with an Indian accent. He knew my name and told me he was from 3. He gave me part of my address as d16 which is true but my account with 3 is registered under my old address in north dublin, not d16. 3 should not know i live in d16. I told him I'm not interested in his scam, he said he's just ringing with some promotions, I hung up.

When I answered the phone, it initially rang (as If I had made the call). And Indian man answered and said "hello?" I explained sorry, this must be a scam cuz my phone rang and when I answered, it then appeared it called you. "Oh no, it's not a scam. I am with three." He then attempted to confirm my name. I said I did not believe he was three (cuz of the weird ring at the start, the "hello" as opposed to a standard three opening line" and the desperation in his voice to keep me on the call. Which a customer service person would not care about. Be careful. Though it's Three's number, they've found a way to mask their identity as that number, but when you answer, the call is routed back to the scammer

I was called on (061)203659, he could provide me with all the usual information scammers normally try to fish out of people. But, he let the question "is the house furnished" slip out. He was very convincing until this point... Watch out for calls from this number!!

Rang twice so I was curious and answered. It actually was three, the lady was able to tell me the last time I called and why and had my details anyway. Ended up getting new plan although on billpay but same price as prepay. Wasn’t keen on giving my bank details so done revolut never money in it anyway haha. Not scammers though don’t know bout ye but I don’t know of too many scammers that are irish

The number belongs to an outside company doing research for three mobile. She was able to give me my name, address, and phone plan details. We had a chat about upgrades. Hang ups from this number probably caused by automatic dialing system.

Called me this morning saying he's from three mobile. Asking for my address and other personal details. got mad when I refused to give him any info. A lot of background noise during the call which made me notice that it was a most probably a scam, so I hung up

I didn’t answer as I know no one from Limerick and no message was left. I never ring back unknown calls unless a valid message is left. Judging from a majority on here, they are scammers.

Called my mobile twice, didn't answer as unrecognised, no voicemail left. Called from Skype to check, claimed to be "Three Customer Loyalty". Checked with 3 Mobile, definitely not them. BEWARE - DEFINITELY A SCAMMER

Scam. He said he was from three care. He didn't know my name. He said my account showed I was on a top up plan, which I wasn't. He said I was spending a lot of money on credit, which I don't. I told him I hardly use the phone. He said ok then, bye.
