“This is Baycorp. The txt is sent after phn calls aren't answered. They also call your home line, if thay've managed to get hold of it, at least 7 times in a row over a period of an hour. A friend who delt with them was disgusted that they immediately asked if they had a credit card to pay the debt or if family members or friends would pay the debt for them. I agree that this is out of line, when they should be working on a payment arrangement. But they're doing their job as they see fit. would hate to have to deal with them.”

“Received text at 8am from 64210025900 saying: Pls rg 0800 438229 or reply txt Call regarding an urgent matter. Yeah right! Firstly it sounds like a nigerian spam email. Second, it's not personalised. Third, it's not specific. Fourth, if it really is an urgent matter who just sends a text! Bugger off!!!”

“Received this today, I do owe $200 for expired WOF, started paying off $5 per week 2 months ago to BayCorp who flipped out that installment is not enough to repay in 2 months and legal action will be taken by Auckland Transport against me blahblah. Judging from previous comments, it probably IS Baycorp. Hate their tactics, there were super rude on the phone the previous times I talked to them too. No way I wanna talk to these disrespectful rude people again. Dodgy methods too.”

“Sent from number 64210025900, message says "Pls rg 0800 438229 quote ref 3138345 15669 or reply txt Call regarding an urgent matter". If it was legitimate (and urgent), wouldn't they call me? There is no name or clue as to who has sent the text. I can only assume that it is dodgy and no way would I reply or call the number provided.”
