This is an automated Google service. People who run businesses should be responsible for maintaining their metadata online. If it's too hard for you to pick up a phone call and talk to an automated robot, I strongly consider you leave the business sector all together. Some people on here—arguing with a literal robot. Not even close to a scam; it's closer to spam except it's not.

I have picked the call from this number -i did feel for a second that it was not a human voice then i thought may be i was wrong -but i can see here everyone talking about this call. Asking me hour- opening and closing hours and repeated the same thing again

Regularly have this number calling to update our business hours on behalf of google maps, saying it's an automated service. Googled the Auckland phone number that it's called from which brought me to this website. Have regularly had conversations about how they should access our hours, which bordered on an argument. Now I hang up immediately.

There was a delay in the line so the 'automated service' said "ahh hello?". Then when I responded, said they said they were an automated service from Google wanting me to list the hours we are open. I laughed, because they had already shown themseves to be real and not a recording and I asked "what??". They repeated the line. I asked them what an automated service was and they repeated the same line but added in a little more detail. I asked, so are you trying to tell me you're a recording? They sighed (lol) then repeated the first line, this time tripping up on their words a couple of times as every automated service should. This went on for a few more rounds and the automated service became more and more frustrated in it's tone because AI is amazing now and can convey emotion appropriately, and then it told me it couldn't process my answer and hung up.
