A concise factual report based on available public information indicates that +64800033018 (NZ) is associated with a telemarketing or promotional style call pattern, and is frequently reported as an unwanted call by several users and directories. The number appears connected to a publicly reachable NZ telecommunication namespace but is commonly labeled as a telemarketer or promotional line, with multiple user reports of annoyance or lack of relevance. Given the prevalence of warnings and user comments, answering or returning calls is generally not advisable. 1. Ownership/typology: The number is an 0800 NZ toll free style line (0800 033018) commonly associated with telemarketing or promotional campaigns, often claimed as One New Zealand or similar marketing entities in user reports. This suggests a corporate promotional line rather than a personal mobile line. 2. Online commentary: Several user reports on scam/spam aggregators and telemarketing forums label the number as a telemarketer or promotional caller, with comments indicating unwanted promo calls and requests to call back or verify offers. 3. Association with spam/scam: The number is repeatedly categorized as telemarketing and is flagged in user discussions as an unwelcome promotional call; while not definitively proven as a scam, the pattern aligns with nuisance telemarketing rather than clearly fraudulent activity. 4. Public exposure/leaks: The number is listed in public spam/telemarketing databases and caller identified directories, and is frequently searched/reviewed by users; this suggests it is publicly exposed and widely reported. 5. Call back advisability: Given the consistent reports of unwanted marketing calls and potential for misleading promotions, it is prudent to avoid answering or returning calls to minimize risk of unsolicited offers or nuisance charges.

It's highly likely a scam, because many details don't match the real OneNZ. I've been using OneNZ for almost ten years and have never received any telemarketing calls, promotional information usually comes via email or pop-up ads in the app. So don't believe it, it's a scam.
Vodafone fue reportado como Línea de televentas con el número 0800-033018
Claimed to be One NZ pushing 'Exclusive limited time promo' with a scammy vibe to it.. Never previously received any calls like this from One NZ in the 2 decades I've been with them. I declined and hung up, then right after received an even more suspicious text from a random 021 number offering *BONUS DATA LIMITED TIME OFFER REPLY NOW*. The formatting/grammar was clumsy and unlike any legit texts (promotional or otherwise) I've received from One NZ in the past. Stinks of a scam but if its actually legit, its the kind of overly aggressive telemarketing you don't want anyway. Blocked both numbers.
Calling to sign me up for a 25$ pay monthly plan for the first 12 months. Since I'm on prepay.
For a promo I'm not interested in
One New Zealand trying to sing me up to a extremely limited time exclusive promo, spent far longer than necessary trying to confirm my address for some reason, and then when I went to hang up, was determined to get me to let them call me back, felt like a scam to me
Vodafone calling... they want to sell products...
