The number +64 9 242 4733 appears to be an Auckland, New Zealand landline rather than a mobile or premium rate number. Public reports associate it with unsolicited survey style or sales calls, but there is no reliable identification of a legitimate owner from the available sources. 1. It appears to be a New Zealand Auckland fixed line number, not a mobile or premium rate line. The only identifiable label found online is “unknown,” with some callers saying it claimed to be “Nest Edge” or an AI survey caller. 2. Online comments on Tellows describe it as a “cost trap,” “survey,” and “unknown,” with several users reporting a fake sounding voice, an automated/AI style, and questions about property, employment, income, or living situation. Some commenters suspected it was used to obtain voice samples or to sell financial services. 3. The number is associated with unwanted calls and possible scam behavior. It has been rated negatively and tagged as untrustworthy on a spam report site, but the available evidence stops short of proving a specific fraud scheme. 4. It appears publicly exposed online in at least one spam report database, with multiple user reports and call notes indexed by the number. No solid evidence was found here of a breach dump, paste site leak, or classified/social media profile tying the number to a verified person or business. 5. It is not advisable to answer or call it back. Based on the public reports, the safest assumption is that it is an unwanted sales or scam adjacent call, so ignoring and blocking it is prudent.

6Call came up as a possible scam so did not answer
I received a call from this number and I barely get any calls so immediately obvious to me its a scammer, maybe ai scamming program with real sounding voice. Don't answer it and don't call back. Block number and mark it as scam.
Call said they were an AI automated caller from Nest Edge wanting to do a survey about people wanting to buy property in NZ. They had a very kiwi but fake sounding voice, and said it was 3 questions. I asked how they got my number and they said they bought it through a third party so I hung up, I also looked on reddit and a few other people on there have said this was a scam for obtaining your voice.
Phone came up with Potential fraud and then my missed call stated Robot Survey
Caller said they were calling from 'Nest Edge' and sounded like AI generated responses. They appeared to be trying to sell me financial advice.
I found this call strange. The person said they had three questions, then asked if I lived alone, if the house was mine, if I was working, and about my annual income. It sounded almost like an electronic voice, but it was actually a real person. I hung up at that point.
