12Just received this call while at work. It came up on my phone as suspected Spam. Googled it and saw that it is definitely spam calling from NZ Herald.
Called and said they were from the NZ Herald and offering a 6 week subscription for free - they just want feedback. he Then asked if I still live at X address, he had the street name correct (but not the number) so I hung it up. Creepy as hell, Ive never had a subscripton to NZ Herald before so how are they getting my name and info?
Got a 1 month free subscription to NZ Herald through Fly Buys in February 2024. This number has been calling me on and off ever since then. I missed the initial call and googled the number to find it was the Herald. I ignored the next few calls, and ended up having to block the number completely because the calls wouldn't stop. They even came after hours (7-8pm). There's been 11 in total, and another today - almost 18 months after my trial subscription ended! They can forget it, this sort of behaviour is why I won't be subscribing - ever.

Asked for name of person who had number over 15 years before. Then asked my name, I said what is your name? They said they were from NZ Herald, and said sarcastically "you've heard of that have you?" I told them off for giving me attitude when they were cold calling with out of date information. He continued to try sell paper subscription. I called them out on trying to scam me and hung up.
Came up as NZ herald .. I had to Google the number I'm not subscribed to them ..
started spam calling me, sometimes late at night. not sure why, never been subscribed to nz herald
Continuously calling all different times of the day and multiple times.. luckily my phone alerts it now as spam. I was a previous subscriber to my local newspaper via NZME but canceled a few months ago.. getting multiple calls has totally put me off ever subscribing again.. have now blocked the number
Multiple times and consecutive days after hours. Likely to continue subscription services following a free trial. Phone luckily triaged as spam and calls went unnoticed but logged in call history.
Always calling after hours, presumably to make me continue my subscription to their service.
