Citi had no record of fraud activity nor card being canceled. Stated Citi will never ask for security codes on cards when calling

Sophisticated fraud call. Apparently, someone opened a credit card on my name and purchased a fire arm, which is a federal crime. They even connected me FBI field office in Portland,OR to report a case. If FBI report is not received within two hours, my accounts will be frozen etc. hey were trying to get my two forms of identification using WA video/Audio call, I dropped the call. Checked with my credit cards to make sure all is good

Got a call from this number with someone claiming to be from Citibank fraud department. I hung up and called Citibank and they confirmed that there was no fradulent activity on my card. The giveaway was that the fraudster's accent was so thick I coujld barely understand them
