AI Analysis
Limited information: Multiple reports indicate potential debt collection or scam activities, primarily related to alleged unpaid energy bills (TXU mentioned). However, some users question the legitimacy due to the small debt amount ($39.95) and lack of preliminary billing notices. Calls are persistent, with one user receiving 7 calls over a couple of days. Legitimacy of the caller's intentions is highly questionable based on user experiences.
Likely purpose: Likely scam or illegitimate debt collection, focused on unpaid energy bills.

6I got 7 calls from this company over the past couple of days Oct 2025. I finally answer and the first thing they said I owed 39.95 on some bill. Companies do not call you for $39.95 debt. They send you a bill and then late notices. I also do not live in TX and they have there own grid so this is just scam using this company or this company need to be investigated. When he said I owed money I told him he can kiss my *** and hung up and blocked the number. The only reason why I picked up because I was curious since I knew it was a scam. They want your credit or debt card.
Called and did not leave a message. I have no business with TXU, which means this must be a scam. A legitimate business would leave a message.

Although I had recently spoken with TXU, I'm not sure what they want or why they keep calling. In my instance, I believe that these two calls may be related to my recent dealings with the firm.
I have zero debt so no idea why they are calling. I tried to answer once and no one was on the line. They leave no message. I just blocked the number.
West Asset Management rang me from Texas. Not sure how they got my work number. They claim I have unpaid energy bills, and they are the representing debt managers.
