We are also a medical provider's located in Florida. Our own Central Billing Office forwarded the call of a female (I believe also identifying herself as "Sally Sparks") claiming to be an "investigating agent" with the "Drug Enforcement Agency" looking for one of our provider's under the same guise of needing to "speak with him" regarding "recent scripts for controlled substances" he had written. Feeling uncomfortable, I kept the woman on hold while I attempted to notify my management. After about 6 minutes, the woman caller hung up.

We are a medical practice in FL. Caller said she was with DEA Drug Enforcement Administration. She was calling about prescription drugs written by our physician. She said her name was Sally Sparks. She had a heavy foreign accent. I asked her to ID our doctor by confirming our doctors DEA number. She asked if I was trying to get arrested. She said she was calling about serious charges. I told her I felt like this was a scam and her name sounded like a strippers name. The line went dead. She called and left a voice mail instructing us to call back 713-489-5729 EXT 2010. Caller ID was 713-714-2639.

This number called me regarding a doctor who I work with saying that they need to discuss a recent prescription of controlled medications. I suspect it is a scam seeking money, but unsure.
