The number appears to be a U.S. toll free like entry with mixed public reports suggesting potential unwanted calls; reliable, definitive ownership is not clearly established in the available results. Caller identity is not consistently verifiable, and several sources flag unsolicited contact behavior. 1. What the number appears to be: A U.S. toll free style line (800 area) with reports indicating harassment or unwanted calls; no single verifiable owner is confirmed. 2. What people say online: Mixed user reports describe unsolicited or harassing calls; some aggregation sites categorize it as negative or suspicious rather than identifying a legitimate business. 3. Association with scams or telemarketing: Several postings and scam report databases flag similar toll free numbers for unwanted calls; caution is advised, but no universal consensus of active, confirmed fraud specific to this exact number. 4. Public exposure/leakage: Appears in public facing spam/phone lookup databases and user reported directories; presence suggests exposure but not a definitive leak from a breach. 5. Advisability to answer/call back: Not advisable to answer or call back based on multiple negative signals and reported unsolicited activity. If callbacks are necessary, use official channels to contact the organization instead of the number.

8Caller pretends to be USAA by spoofing the official USAA number. Leaves a message telling you to call a non-USAA number. This is a phishing scam attempt to steal your bank account information. USAA will never call you asking for your bank account number or social security number.
Got a call from 800-264-9324. Call said Hello this is Martin Wiggins calling from USAA please contact me or any representative at 800 2649324…” I tried to call USAA’s legitimate number but was on hold. I called this number and they had the same hold music as USAA but the beginning didn’t say Hi Shawn or ask my pin or any of the normal info just went straight to the music and had me wait. I hung up.
Got a call and they are scammers making their initial call number look like the real USAA number. They left a voice mail, told me to call this number and it goes to the recorded message of USAA which is cut off, then it rings, they answer it, and say their employee ID number and ask for your bank account number or ssn number. THIS IS A SCAM. USAA calls do not answer like that, and they ask for verification of your identity in a different way.
Left voicemail say call Mark Wiggins from USAA and requested a call back. Called the number and they requested my Social or Account # but I questioned their creditability they made me more suspicious so I hung up and contacted USAA. USAA couldn't see any calls made out and didn't recognize the number.
I received a call from this number spoofed as USAA’s main number. It left a voicemail from a man who told me to call a different number about my USAA account. I called the USAA main number and not the number provided in the voicemail, and USAA confirmed that they did not contact me. June 27, 2022
