sent to me via text that someone was trying to switch my sim card/phone number to another phone. It's a scam!

I received a call claiming to be from AT&T about upcoming network upgrades in my area. The caller asked for a one-time PIN sent to me via text. Although I provided the PIN, I quickly changed my password before they could access my account. This seemed suspicious, and unless someone can confirm it was legitimate, I’m convinced it was a scam or phishing attempt.

This was a scam number from "AT&T" calling to reset my account. I have gotten this same call several times from this number.
