Robocall saying that they are from Bank of America, and there's fraudulent activity on my card.
They had the audacity to call my home at 9 PM, claiming to be from Bank of America’s fraud department. When I questioned why a bank would call so late, it became clear I wasn’t falling for the scam, and the caller abruptly hung up.
They claiming to be BoA spanish fraud department. But I tried to follow up on it, and it seems it's a scam.
tried scamming me saying they were from Bank of America fraud line about 2 Zelle transactions they wanted me to cancel. They also said they reached out since the requester acessed my zelle and tried removing my phone number as well. They wanted me to repeat and write down everything like case numbers and cancellation numbers letter by letter on a recorded line. I asked for an email and they declined to send it and said I needed to write it down and repeat it to them. As soon as I looked up the number since my suspicion was growing they got ffrusterated I was not repeating the numbers and hung up instantly. Calling back only get a spanish help line for B OA
called saying they are from Bank of America fraud dept. and noticed unusual activity on my account. then asked me what are the last 2 transactions that I made or authorized. Got hostile and started cussing once i told him he should have that information in front of him if he is a representative from Bank of America. He was outed and started threatening. SCAM!!
