I received a call from Penn Cr and a computer voice asked for a person who I have had other companies call about from person from time to time. I think he gave the wrong number or missed a digit. I have had this number for 25 yrs. Penn Cr. a computer voice asked for this person and gave 3 selections. # 3 was this is not the phone of the person so I pressed it and it said we are sorry and will update our records and remove this number. Sooo we shall see.

Phone rings once and the caller hangs up before it makes it to voicemail. I call back, and there's nothing to identify the company, but the number is, at least, answered by a live person.

Robo caller attempting to collect a debt from an unknown source, rude and threaten with lies. If you're going to try to collect a debt you should at least have info on what it is for bc when you don't it's right to assume that they are scammers. They probably bought some people's personal info online and are using that info to sound as legit as possible to scare people into making payments to them. Gtfo

These scammers claim they have “very important business” to discuss. They call incessantly at all times of the day. They leave messages asking if “Joe Blow” lives there while garbling the name on purpose to prompt a response. They then want you to “enter 1 if this person lives there. DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS CALL. DO NOT ANSWER THIS CALL. These scammers have been reported on in the New York Times and the CBS Evening News who have been investigating them. Hopefully they will be incarcerated before they can prey on another innocent victim.

They've left messages for over a year, so I finally tried to call them back and was on hold for 4min so I got worried that it might be a scam where I get charged for that time. I will NEVER call another unknown number again. SO ANNOYING, they call all hours of day, any day of year. This is Stalking, as far as I'm concerned! How dare these predators invade my life!

Has called my office number *repeatedly* over the past two weeks asking for someone named "Sheldon Loman" (sp?). I am not this person, and have informed them of this. When they called today I explicitly told the caller that this number had been reported online as a scam. He became *really* defensive.

The woman asked by name for a relative who moved over a year ago. If the previous posters are right, and Penn Company is a debt collector, then they don't even have the right person, because the individual in question has excellent credit. I wonder if they just call for anyone with a similar name, trying to get leads?
