17It's chase
The caller was harassing my mom claiming to be calling from Chase Bank. He claimed his name was Ban Song calling from (212) 270 6000 and was phishing for information. I walked into the room when I heard that my mom was getting frustrated and telling him that she doesn't even handle our family's finances. "Ban" kept insisting on keeping her on the line to ask her for more personal information. I finally got on the phone and asked him what he wanted. He spoke zero English and insisted that I put my mother back on the line (all in Mandarin). I hung up and he continued to call back with the numbers (718)635-2229, (917)858-4915,(718)772-9252, (212)270-6000, (646)809-3919 then finally (800)935-9935 .. all back to back from each other. I finally picked and he kept insisting on talking to the head of the house and this is when I told him never to call again. Beware, very stupid and insistent scammer.
fake fraud calls wanting you to give them your bank info, scam!!!!! dont answer!
Called twice, didn’t answer. Caller I’d said chase fraud, but they always send text. Checked account and no issues.
Called me reporting to be Chase Fraud stating that someone had attempted wire transfers multiple times and the way to stop it was to do a reverse wire. He then proceeded to give me information to add an individual to a wire transfer. Name: Stefan Rahming Address: 308 Plus Park BLVD Apt K1 Nashville, TN Bank: Wells Fargo Routing number: 121000248 Account Number: 1549219293 When I expressed my skepticism he reassured me that the number he was calling from was the number on the back of my card. It wasn't. Then he said he would call from the number on the back of my card. He called back. Still not the right number. Then he tried to tell me that it was one of Chase's customer service numbers. Surprise, another lie. I told him that this conversation made me feel uncomfortable and then he screamed profanities at me and hung up.
Calling to verify bank details, and try to phish for personal information in order to commit fraud.
Chase calling again
Chase Bank, Credit Card Company
definitely not chase
they said that it was from the CHASE Fraud department checking on a $649 charge. I dont have a chase account 1
I don't know how this number called out on my phone.
they are spoofing the telephone # for chase. DO NOT GIVE THEM INFORMATION - hang up and call the # on the back of your card to verify anything you are concerned about
Caller called me as chase bank fraud department, knew my name and last 4 of my debit card, they added my card to their google pay wallet. I hanged up and called chase and requested a new card before any charges were made and made a note to confirm for any new charges on my card before approval.
!!**°°SCAM°°**!!
First the call came with the heading (ATM) Chase I bank with Chase so I answer and they ask me if I was the person I am. Legal first and last..I confirmed. Then they said there were some odd charges on my account ending in 0648 and he wanted to verify. I am already suspicious, I have had a fraud alert from Chase and they send a text. So I said ok Then I ask what do you need? They said we will need you to first verify your personal information. I said that's not going to happen and that chase usually sends a text. I hang up Then I got this text on a 6788340246# FreeMsg: JPMORGAN CHASE BANK fraud Ctr. 8003423086 Did you attempt 315.77 at TARGET #1722 with card x0648? Reply YES or NO. Case KV0044-32 To Opt Out reply STOP So I responded no and got this text FreeMsg: Thank you for confirming activity. Account ending in x0648 will remain blocked. You will be contacted immediately. So I call the number on the text and these people answer Ascend Federal Credit Union Who I don't have an account with and also wanted my info..I hang up Log into my bank and all is well...no alerts. I call Chase and they are all auto due to COVID so I verify my account is good and hang up. During my call with Chase this number calls twice again I pick up the second time because I realized something...the acct number it was asking about was not my Chase account but my old Wells Fargo account! So I hung up and reported spam. But this is a clever scam. I almost fell for it.
