6it was HomeServe calling to ask if i am interested in electric coverage. i am already a customer through my utility xcel energy in Minneapolis, MN. it is a legit call. NOT SCAM.
Legit call from a legit company. I'm already a customer, and they were trying to upsell me into additional coverage. It's a sales call to be sure, but a legit call from a legit company offering legit services. Not a scam
Called them back and got voicemail. The voicemail says it's Homeserve Insurance which is a legit company but they are calling to solicit business which they should not be doing but then, the local LDS Church has been doing the same thing since January 2024 so must have been some change to the do not call rules.
HomeServe, offering water and sewer line insurance, called to discuss expanding my coverage. Though unsolicited, it wasn't spam in my case.
I picked up their call, and it was HomeServe, an insurance company that specializes in external repair coverage, often in partnership with gas or utility providers.
Dropped call or no message received in Jacksonville, Texas. Calling with recorded message (robocalls)
