They called with a lot of identifying information including that I ordered a new Credit card which is true. They said that someone from California logged into my account and that they see log in's from my house address. They quoted my house address! So when I said let me get my husband on the phone being that it is OUR account they went ghost on the line...

Got call from 844-730-0799 saying they are from Capital One and need to talk to me as soon as possible regarding an important business matter. I called the number back and was met by an automated system that asks me to enter the 7 digit extension of the person I need to talk to. The caller did not leave an extension number. I have been doing business with Capital One and requested a money transfer so I am unsure if this is legitimate or not. I tried to call Capital One's main bank number and even though it said on the site that they are opened from 0800 to 2300 EST Sunday through Saturday, I received a message that they are closed today.
