13This number sent me a pin for no reason via text
Message with Pin #. With all the reports, why is this number still able to do this?
(844) 919-0123 texted me Saturday at 9pm. Do NOT ever text back even to say STOP.
Said he was a lottery winner and wanted to share but had to pay to get the money it's a scammer
I got the same text message on my Verizon Messages+ from 844-919-0123 to never give my PIN to anyone. I did open the message but I can't seem to delete it or even click to report it as spam and that bothers me that I even clicked on it do that. And I just wanted to say that once I got a message from someone, I believe come asking if I wanted to sell my condo and they sent me messages two or three times and then they sent me one saying to reply STOP if I didn't want to get their messages anymore and I unbelievably did that. Would you believe 4 months I ended up getting text messages of the dirtiest nastiest emails you can't imagine and they would come in 30 or 60 at a time multiple times a day and once I even got over 100. Those finally stopped when I ignored them in my spam mail but now they have changed to saying that somebody has gotten access to my Facebook account or that I have won something, etc so don't ever reply stop to a text message if you're not sure who they are. And I wonder what other access I gave to both of those numbers oh my smartphone?
Got the first message from a person claiming to be a Johnnie Taylor, big New York lottery winner, who was choosing random strangers to share the luck. Said to text an agent at another number. My husband did and then received a message from yet another number (the one above) with "requested pin for your device..." A few minutes later some foreigner called wanting the code. Turns out it was someone who said I won $150,000 but had to go and purchase $500 Green Dot card, Apple card, or another gift card for "shipping costs paid to the courier."
Requested PIN fue reportado como SMS spam con el número 844-9190123
Said that I requested PIN... I did not. I reported it as spam to Android. Looks real.
Sent me message with a requested PIN, that i did not request.
Repeated text with"PIn number"= Message+: *Never give your PIN to anyone*. The PIN you just requested for your device is 041452 Text STOP to Opt Out.
Same exact message as the rest. Looks as good as the real thing. Only I never requested a pin #
Got text that said here’s your pin with a pin and said to reply STOP to opt out. We didn’t request any pin for anything. Didn’t reply because
sent on my message app with a code saying text stop to opt out
