AI Analysis

Limited information: Mixed user reports for Xfinity-related calls. Some users report legitimate Xfinity customer service interactions (e.g., confirming government program assistance credits like the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) program), while others describe potentially harassing or spammy behaviors (e.g., repeated calls/texts threatening discontinuation of EBB credits, robocalls). No clear malicious intent from the number itself, but rather from how it's used by third parties or in specific campaigns.

Likely purpose: Likely an Xfinity customer service number, but with reports of use in potentially harassing or fraudulent campaigns by third parties.

Xfinity to confirm government program assistance credit

Anonymous
Nov 23, 2021

This was legit, it goes to Xfinity customer service. We got multiple emails saying to call this number to provide consent to continue participating in the EBB program, which is a $50/month credit. The first few reps couldn’t find the issue but the woman I got today dug further and found the link to send to provide consent
