A search indicates mixed results from public reverse lookup and spam report services; no definitive, authoritative owner is publicly verified for this exact number. Publicly available reports suggest potential spam signaling, but reliability varies across sources. 1. The number appears to be a United States line; several reverse lookup and spam report services flag it as potentially dubious, but do not confirm a specific owner. Ownership remains unverified in authoritative public records. 2. Online chatter includes generic spam/robocall reports and discussions on spam report platforms; results are inconsistent and often rely on user submissions. 3. Associations with spam, scams, phishing, or telemarketing are indicated in multiple user reported databases, though without conclusive corroboration from primary sources. 4. The number appears exposed to public facing databases and spam report directories; it shows up in multiple lookup tools and user forums, suggesting it is publicly visible. 5. 14Call related to Other received in Michigan. Calling with recorded message (robocalls)
They have been calling since September 2021. I have 47 calls from these losers. First started calling me on 9/16/2021 and called me every day thru 10/2/21, then started again on 10/5/21 and 10/6/21, stopped until 10/18/21 and called me every day from 10/18/21 thru 11/8/21, stopped until January, and started back up 1/18/2022 and have called me everyday to today so far. They call every day except Sundays(Gee thanks). They call from 3 different numbers, and leave 2 different voicemails but with the same content. CitiBank calling regarding our Best Buy Credit Card/account. but its not actually Citibank/BestBuy. They have called from (855)501-3051, (877)836-5629, and (877)836-5643 and have left the following 2 call back numbers (855)501-3051 and (855)242-6899....

They dialed from 469-914-7211 and ask for Chris. No one here by that name. Later in the morning I got a Robo call from same number welcoming me to Citicorp Best Buy family. They told me to log on to my account, and to call back at 855-242-6899. I called the number 469-914-7211 where an operator picked up and ask for my account number. I told her to stick it. It is all bullshit.
Left message saying they were "citi". Message sounded terrible. Definitely no reported number of citi.
Turns out I had a balance on my best buy credit card. I did not call this number back but found the number on my billing statement. I still wouldn't call this number back but it's probably a best buy credit card balance.
The calls daily were as others have reported. Finally, I called and was answered by a guy. I said this call will be recorded. He asked me the BB Card #. To confuse him, I asked "which CC". He stammered a bit. Then I said if the message was left, you should tell me why this call was made. He dropped the phone call then. I called BB and let them know. They verified and said this was NOT a call from them. They ARE going to report this to the people in the company who need to know. DO NOT give anyone any details. Instead ask their details first. A name, area where they are calling from. If need be, make up a "fake" CC # and let them know YOU ARE SMARTER than these donkeys...
Automated message asking to call Citi/Best Buy at this number. When I called they immediately wanted SSN to pull up account. Refused to give it. They hung up. Then called Citi and they verified that this was NOT a Citi phone number.
They want SSN & or Best Buy acct # before letting the caller know the nature of the call. Stating they did not initiate call they feign ignorance, but can pull your acct info from phone #. They get you call under false pretense after receiving an ambiguous call from 877-561-2272. Pls notify Consumer Financial Protection Bureau www.consumerfinance.gov and file a complaint!!!!
It was citi calling about my best but account. All was official once I called, but the auto message sounded like a scam. I got phone numbers to call and tell them it sounds untrustworthy and is not helpful to their clients.
These people were calling every day, twice a day and leaving me a message once daily. After I decided to finally call back, I hear that it's from BestBuy. I was greeted then by Citibank and that they were calling in regards to my BestBuy card. They asked me if I had my BestBuy card number or if the should look it up by my SOCIAL SECURITY. Fraud.
It was a legitimate call. At first I was very skeptical. I made the person on the phone verify it was Best Buy. I gave him my name and phone number and he told me the Name of my bank that I have the payments set up with. My account was past due by 5 days. I made the payment over the phone WITHOUT having to give him any account information at all. If you get a call from 877-561-2227, they will ask you to call this number.
I purchased items from Best Buy with my debit card and I started receiving calls a few days later. I din't answer but when I did they said they were from best buy exactly.I told them not to call again.
I got called at least one pro day. When I answered and understood that it was best buy I just hang up.
