12They called me last year and pitched me with the same offer everyone here is talking about. I did it though. I guess I should've looked into them first? Regardless, luckily nothing bad has been done with my personal information (so far) and I'm saving $350 a month on processing with them so I'm not complaining. I'll be back with updates though
They did call me too, I actually was paying over 4% of my company to my last processor and they brought me down to about a 2.4% overall. i will say they actually did lower my rate so I'm happy with it
A lady named "Jennifer Brown" from Processing Depot's "Compliance Department" called saying I had been being overcharged for the months of August, September & October. I was supposed to be being charged 1.5% but had been being charged "over 2%". She asked if I had any statements for any of those three months & wanted me to e-mail them to her, so I could be reimbursed. First I said 'wait, you need me to e-mail you your own statements?' I asked her who my credit card processing company was, and she couldn't tell me, she said "we work with over 300 companies". Bunch of BS-- sounds like a SCAM to get your info
They claim to represent over 300 different processing companies but could not tell me who my credit card processing company was, even though they supposedly had a report in front of them that I MAY HAVE BEEN over charged a 2% corporate tax on my money. They are phishing for your information to use at their disposal, do not trust. Hang up and call your actual processing company from a statement you already have.
Got a call about being overcharged processing fees. Pretty funny since I closed my business & haven’t had a card processor for over 10 years!!
1-12-2022 I received a call because my current merchant account has been red-flagged for being charged over 2%. I did not request this and I asked again to be removed from the calling list. I gave no info about my processing over the phone. If I want to change processors I will do the calling to reach out and do my own research.
855-355-0989 just called our business and here's the scamming spiel they left on our voicemail : "Hi, my name is Kerry. I'm calling from Processing Depot in regards to an over billing on the merchant account for the month of August, September and October. If you please give me a call back at 855-355-0989, extension 1420. Again, my name is Kerry. Thank you." Here is their info : The Processing Depot 4100 Eldorado Parkway, Suite 100-186 McKinney, TX, 75070 855-355-1080 [email protected] https://theprocessingdepot.com Guess it's time to contact the AG's Office in McKinney and file a formal complaint.
My processing company had been over charging me for years, so it was a sigh of relief when I got a call from Processing Depot to help me with the mess I was in. Everyone was very helpful and they even took the time out to review my statement with me. My fee's are now more than half of what they used to be. Highly recommend this company
A lady called (from 855-355-0989) saying that there was an overcharge on my merchant account and they were a “kind of auditors” or something similar (I don’t remember). She wanted me to pull the last 2 statements to tell me what the overcharge was. This is a new trick. The call is from The Processing Depot. They are (supposedly) a merchant company trying to get you to switch to their company.
Card Processing SCAM !!!
