It was from Aetna; the message was poorly worded. It wasn't about an upcoming appointment -- it was an automated follow-up to tell me to make sure to SCHEDULE an appointment with my regular physician after a recent hospital stay. It also offered to provide home nursing help if desired; I declined and it said "thanks" and hung up. I contacted Aetna at their public number and they confirmed it was a legitimate number and call

Inpatient stay last week and receiving multiple calls from this # every day stating they are Aetna calling about an upcoming appointment. Obviously, I have follow-up visits coming so I almost answered just to get them to stop calling! Thankfully, we decided to check the # first and confirmed it is SPAM. Extra shady that they started calling immediately following a hospital stay after which I may expect calls from doctors for follow-up appointments

I used secure Aetna portal messaging to check about this number and they confirmed this is NOT an Aetna number. They instructed NOT to provide any information. It is a medical identity theft attempt

Calls saying Aetna has important info regarding upcoming visit. Asks me to give them my name, address and zip to confirm that i was who they think i was. I called Aetna Member Services who said it was not one of their numbers. They looked it up on the web and saw that is was listed as a scam. Told me not to answer if they call again.
