27This was a legitimate call from a company that provides 3rd party billing for medical offices. They may also do debt collection. I have always paid in person at my doctors office due to having appointments every 6-8 weeks. I am done with treatment for now and had not been to the office in many months. This was their 3rd party outside billing department collecting a legitimate balance. I call the doctors office to verify.
Medical debt collector. I didn't think I owed anything, but the information they provided on me was accurate, including a medical procedure. They had sent the bill to the wrong place. Legit, unfortunately.
Legitimate medical debt collection company; they had my and my medical provider’s information correct and I owed what they were calling about. The name of the company is Action Collection Agency of Boston, their web site is http://www.actioncollection.com/
They call, transfer and always hang up!
No Subject Provided received in BROCKTON, Massachusetts. Calling with recorded message (robocalls)
I got a letter with their number trying to claim I owed a medical bill. They used the name of our local hospital and everything. I don't owe any money. They were trying to scam me.

Robo call claiming to be Action Debt Collection from Boston, MA. Since we don't owe anything, we know this is a scam. They've called at all hours of the day, every day for the past two weeks.
I asked what company did I owe a dept to. The man would mot tell me unless I told him my address. I said I was going to call the BBB.
Called my cell phone didn't recognized number let it go to voicemail no message left guess wasn't that important
they call all the time. girl leaves message to call back to settle a debt. I owe nothing and after check the number on line I believe its a scam. don't answer!
I did not recognize number so automaticly deferred it to voicemail. I listened to voicemail that was left and it was 3 min long. It was just a ringing phone for the entire time and then disconnected at the 3 min mark. Very strange and very fishy!! Be careful do not give these people any info at all! I will be blocking this number for now on
They said it was a debt collector but im not in debt ive played all my bills on time! The women sounded automated and seemed to have attitude... I didn't answer so got a voicemail
Pretty much same comments as everyone else.
when I answered a computer generated voice said hello - then call seemed to transfer and was ringing - I waited for a few rings then hung up.
Just got a call from this number and received a voicemail message, "Hello?" There was silence for about 5 seconds then they hung up.
(866)467-4907 called me at ~10:00AM 10/22/2014 . I answered and was at first greeted with silence, at which point I nearly hung up - then: "HELLO." (a creepy, computer generated-sounding female voice). Immediately following the HELLO the line seemed to xfer and began ringing. and ringing. and ringing. I had time to waste so I allowed it to ring, probably about 30 times, before *someone* picked up or in some way manipulated the call causing it to end. It was a very brief pause and I thought I heard breathing- about 1 or 2 seconds, then some sort of beep was heard as the call ended. Very strange so I googled and found many "scam" posts on sites like these, along with a business out of NYC that seems to have a good rating with bbb (Rooters Plumbing & Locksmith Svc's or something like that). I'm pretty determined to stop whoever this is now.
debt collection co using there initials instead of full name collection mostly sold but fresh medical debt. am was previously a debt collector
Since I have no debt this makes no sense and sounds like a scam. I refuse to answer the phone and they have left two message with no useful reference information which leads me to believe they are fishing and scamming.
Number called and left a voicemail, which seemed to be cut off because the voicemail was 5 seconds long and was just a young sounding woman's voice saying "688-467-4907, thank you."
I was Called by this number and a lady started asking for my info. I could not understand what she was saying and tried to ask her to slow down, due to her mumbling. She then snapped at me and started yelling at me as if I was trying to attack her. Shortly after that, she hung up on me. I was unable to catch her name, due to her mumbling and would love to know who this lady is. I found it very disrespectful and would love for action to be taken upon this, if possible.
