The number appears to be a US based line, but reliable, exact ownership details are not clearly verifiable from available sources. Online reports suggest it is used in contexts where callers or text campaigns are involved, but there is insufficient, definitive evidence tying it to a specific entity or confirming persistent abuse. 1. Ownership/line type: No conclusively verifiable owner identified; appears as a standard US telephone number (likely mobile or landline) without public, confirmed attribution to a specific company or institution in the provided results. 2. What people say online: Various reverse lookup and telemarketing focused resources imply it could be linked to general calling activity or spam concerns, but none provide a definitive, consistent report tying this exact number to a particular scam or organization. 3. Association with spam/scams: Some sources discuss the general risk of spam/scam calls for numbers in similar ranges, yet no definitive, repeated claim confirms this exact number as involved in such activity within the provided results. 4. Public exposure/leak status: No clear indication in the results that this exact number is publicly exposed or leaked in widely cited datasets, directories, or paste sites; no definitive leak attribution found. 5. Advisability of answering: Given inconclusive ownership and mixed signals about misuse, answering is not clearly advisable; consider screening, using a call blocking/verification approach, or letting unknown calls go to voicemail. Note: No definitive, reliable match found in the provided results to confirm precise ownership or a confirmed history of abuse for this exact number.

An automated message is now being sent via the phone call from this number and 1(868)223-1014 asking you to call a number. Though I'm a customer with the bank, the number I'm getting the call on is not the number I use to do business with them so I would just let it go to voicemail.

This number keeps calling. No one answers. I call back and after two rings it shuts off. I think the bank can do better. 2 and 3.00am calls are unecessary.

I believe this is an automated way for Scotia bank to contact customers with outstanding balances etc. It's not just some prankster. You can't call back the number. It just tells you to call them.

Scotiabank if this is your company or affiliate you must know so therefore you are seeing complaints from as far back as 2014 and do nothing. Typical Scotiabank. Let us start to bombard them as well. Call back the number day and night...in the middle ah the lime...when brushing your teeth...on the porcelain throne...don't say a word and if they do pick up bawl in they ears...make them uncomfortable. Oh and do not forget to insist that they remove you from all call lists. I know they are bound to honor it in the states once you say the words but don't know for here...worth a shot. Up yours Scotiabank!

This number has called me repeatedly over the last few weeks. Whenever I have answered usually the person on the other line says nothing. However once when I answered there was a female automated voice telling me to call Scotiabank for an important message.

This number continuously calls my work phone plus my cellphone at ridiculous hours . It is also annoying when no one responds to me whenever I answer the calls . Even if I try calling the number no one answers . It is even more suspicious that I do not bank with Scotiabank and have no connection at all with anyone there, so whoever is calling from Scotiabank is harassing my life on a daily basis. I totally agree with a previous comment that they are hiring psychos .

It seems the number belongs to Scotia bank, it has MANY psychos working at scotia bank. My husband has an ex that works at Scotia bank, she calls from this number and other numbers and remains silent on the phone. When you call back the number you getting busy tone, she has co workers calling and asking him all sorts of irrelevant questions, trying to find out personal information and his business at another bank. Scotia Bank needs to check their workers, they are being very unprofessional, monitoring peoples account transactions and purchases. This is the reason why people are going to close their accounts.
