It's Rogers Mastercard Pickup. Your welcome.
calling about an " Important Offer" from Rogers MC. due to the recent postal strike, they are calling to tell you you missed a payment
Get these calls every day! No message left. Do not owe Rogers any money.
This number is actually for Rogers Mastercard although I'm not sure if it's directly from Rogers or a collection agency for Rogers. It is for real though. I know I am overdue a payment, how much the payment was supposed to be and the date it was due, and I was working on making calls to places but they got to me first. They actually called a few times last week and based on what all the comments say I figured I'd answer it this time and see if it was a scam or not. The only question I was asked was my name. I was not asked for any personal information, location, card numbers, or any numbers at all for that matter. He told me what my payment needed to be, asked when I could pay it, and how I would be paying. He only asked if I'd be paying it online through Mastercard or online banking, I responded yes leaving it open to either, and we had a good discussion about how long the funds take to go from one place to the other and it's too bad there isn't a physical location to pay it. Either way, I'm paying tomorrow in the amount he said because he was correct, and I did not get asked nor provide any information. I hope this helps. I'm sure there are those out there who don't have a Rogers Mastercard but I do and it was a legit call. Happy holidays!
Keeps ringing my mobile. Rogers mastercard about debt owed. Doesn't make sense.
Received a call from 877 425 7858 claiming to be Roger's Bank, stating I'd missed a payment. When I asked for details, the caller couldn’t provide the amount I supposedly owed, saying they weren’t given that information. This lack of clarity and refusal to give specifics raised red flags, making it seem like a scam. Given the vague responses and questionable behavior, it’s highly likely this was a fraudulent attempt to gather personal information.
For two days straight, I received the same voicemail from a professional-sounding voice claiming to be Rogers Bank MasterCard. The message asked me to call 1-877-425-7858 to discuss an "important business matter" and provided an email address: [email protected]. Luckily, I don’t answer unknown numbers, so I didn’t engage with the call.
