11Received a call from "Stephanie" - Phone (877) 455-8569: "Hi name. This is Stephanie with ATO. Following up about your personal loan request. Trying to connect you with our loan officer regarding your approval. Txt END to opt out. Otherwise, can I call you now? If the loan is no longer needed, let me know." If I had the time and energy, I would have messed with them. Instead, I replied back: "I did not ask for this. You have already been reported for spam and phishing. Remove this number from your database. Otherwise you will be reported to the BBB and FTC." Within 5 minutes, I received: "You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe."
Received yet another text using my name stating this is Stephanie with ATO following up about my personal loan. I reported them to the BBB and marked them as Spam and blocked the number. We'll see if they call or text me again.

Spam Fraud Sinner Loser Scammer Text: Hi (Name), this is Mia from ATO. We would like to review your application regarding your personal loan. Txt END to opt out. Dustin if you no longer need the loan, let me know. Otherwise, can I call you now to discuss? No clue how my information was leaked. I run a tight ship. Probably from a data breach at a company that sucks and doesn’t care. Don’t respond. They’re phishing for sensitive information. Report the scam to https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/
Keeps sending me text messages saying the same spiel about a company from ATO wanting to finish reviewing options for my supposed personal loan that I never applied for. DO NOT REPLY TO THESE TEXTS AND DO NOT ANSWER THEIR CALLS! I think a local business that I went to earlier this year either had their data leaked and/or sold, because these started after I was included in a mass text that was similar "sent from said company" and now "ATO" is targeting me solo.
Hi, Don't want to bother you. This is ATO to finish reviewing options for your personal loan. Do you have time now for a quick call? If the loan is no longer needed, let me know. I appreciate it.
