They called our business location today and pretended to be calling on behalf of one our vendors and needed to speak to the owner regarding some purchases that were made recently. After telling them the owner was not available to speak to, they asked for a better phone number to reach them regarding the "urgent" matter. We told them they could email them and that is when the person on the phone got very irritated and demanded to speak to the owner at once and for us to stop screening the calls for them.
