I could barely understand the message that was left on my phone. He had a rather thick accent and the buzz of others also making calls in the background made it difficult to understand. He said he was Stephen from Smart Energy and was calling in regard to my rebate check from Eversource and that it was urgent that I call him back at 888-301-7543. If Eversource was truly sending me a rebate, they wouldn't need a company named Smart Energy to make phone calls. Plus, they would have already sent me a check or credited my account, so I will not be calling him back.
