4Claimed to be from Summit Lending calling about the loan I was offered.
Received call/voicemail from (805) 323-0182 with an automated robo call alleging they were calling from a document delivery services company to arrange delivery of documents and implied legal consequences. Gave this 888# as the number to call their “office”. See text of voicemail below. Believe this is a scam. Highly suspicious. "I am calling on behalf of document delivery services. We have been retained to schedule and deliver legal documents to you between the hours of 800 am and 400 pm at either your home or your place of employment. Will be making only two attempts to deliver these documents which will require a signature as proof of delivery. If we are unable to deliver these documents after two attempts It will be classified as a failed action to serve which will result in the pending matter to proceed further without your consent. If you have any questions or if you need to reschedule this delivery you will need to contact the office directly at (888) 342-9218 and reference your file number (unintelligible file number)."
It seems this call comes from Toll-free telephone number.
