Says TD bank on call display. They call every few days around 8:30 am and I answered and they asked for my husband I told him he was working. They said they'd call back and didn't. Then I got suspicious called the number back and they only wanted to talk to my husband and wouldn't give me any info when I asked them to look stuff up and they wouldn't give me any names or phone numbers to call. I stopped answering the calls or calling back. They keep phoning every few days a few times a day. I answered one last time and they gave the same #, hours they were open and file # not sure if it's a scam won't answer again
They called early in the morning and they said they were td bank and were asking for my husband cuz they said his name and I told them he was at work so they said they would callback in the evening, no one called back. They called again a few days later around the same time as before and asked for my husband again but it was a different person I told them he was at work so they told me to get them to call back and I asked them if he needed to ask for a certain person.. they said no and I asked them for a number to call and they didn't give me one I asked them if I should just call the number on call display and they said yes. After I hung up I got suspicious and called back got a recording and someone came on and I asked why they called me they asked for my husbands and mine first and last name and phone number and wouldn't tell me why they called. I hung up felt suspicious so I called the actual bank to see if they knew of any scam numbers.they weren't sure if the number I told them was a scam or not. So my husband needs to go to the bank find out if it is a scam or if its legit and real
it is TD Bank. not a scam. I forgot to pay a CC and they called to remind me. They did not ask me for any identification nor to confirm anything
The scammer pretending to be TD Credit Card Company, asks another scammer from India that worked for their fraud organization to deliver it to an address that is not my mailing address. The scam letter pretended to be the TD Canada Trust and forged a letter that looked like TD Canada Trust. The forged TD Canada Trust Letter has a TD Logo, except the mailing address is not TD Canada Trust Mailing address. The letter was returned to the scammers. The scammer tries to persuade you to call them back and collect your personal information over the phone before putting you in a chain of trouble. Why don't the government and law enforcement agencies punish these scammers?
