A concise report could not be reliably assembled from provided results alone; no definitive, up to date owner or the full legitimacy of +1 (888) 550 5252 could be confirmed here. 1. The number format indicates a toll free US line, commonly used by businesses. Several sources reference this number as a toll free contact, but ownership is not clearly disclosed. 2. Online mentions describe it as a potential caller ID for toll free services; some listings label it for potential spam risk, while others present it as a generic business contact. Evidence is inconsistent. 3. There are spam/telemarketing, scam, and robo call discussions tied to toll free numbers in general; specific claims about this exact number are not consistently corroborated across sources. 4. The number appears in public facing calling directories and lookups, and is commonly used in reverse lookup tools; exposure is typical for toll free numbers, but explicit leakage or breach associations for this exact line are not clearly shown. 5. Given mixed signals and the lack of a reliable owner attribution, answering may be prudent only if necessary; callers should exercise caution and avoid sharing sensitive information if unsure of the caller’s identity. Doubtful calls may be legitimate toll free inquiries, but verification is advised.

Number 888-550-5252 unknown to me. Refused call and went to voicemail. Message never identified caller or company but said I needed to update automated payment from Social Security or Railroad plan. I didn’t call back as I recently received a letter from Social Security stating that my autopay was updated per my selection.

I had issue when calling my Health Care phone number 888 550 5282. I apparently was off 1 digit on the number and was told this is WellCare by an apparent fraudulent person. Person starts asking me for personal information to confirm my identity. I gave info for 3 or 4 questions which was personal, I may have given my birthdate as well.

WellCare. They call and leave a message approximately 3 times a year. I signed with them when I began Medicare. I have dealt with them on the phone without problems. No complaints so far.

Received a robo call from 888-550-5252 twice on November 13, 2024 saying that I needed to "reactivate by Social Security number " to continue to have auto payments made for Medicare via my monthly S.S. payments. Suspected this was a scam since I have been on Medicare for a number of years and have never had to do this before. Options given were to hit "0" to speak with an operator or call the above number.

Telemarketer call from WellCare Health, a division of CVS, because I had changed to a different insurance provider.
