It left a message into my answer machine. It claimed calling from X (can't hear clearly what name exactly) Healthcare with Aetna insurance for Karen Miller. It said some kind of medical procedure approval and authorization for services requested by doctor. However, I have never been to this X healthcare with Aetna insurance. Plus, I'm not the person who name Karen Miller. This is not my first time to receive this similar calls with different name of healthcare, insurance, and the person who tring to reach. Some comments say this is a scam, some say it's not. I think the best practice is calling your health care provider and insurance company from their official contact numbers, (bill statement, website, or provider card) never using the number from the voicemail. Robocall. Received several times, Asked to confirm my name by selecting #1 on keypad, I did. Then asked to confirm DOB on keypad, I hung up. No calls since that last one.

Yes, their message sounded so scammy. I called Aetna insurance directly at the number on my card and let them connect me to EviCorp. It turned out to be a legitimate denial of an MRI, with reasonable care conditions we had to act on first.

Calling Script: "Hello, this is a call from eviCore Healthcare on behalf of Aetna for Karen Miller. We are calling to provide important information regrading an authorization for services requested for you by your doctor. This call is regular prior requirement and needed for your benefits. The request service has been approved. The authorization expires on April 2024. You will receive a letter with additional details. If you have questions, you may contact us at 888-785-2471 during our business hours, which Monday-Friday 7am-7pm. We are also encourage you to discuss to your doctor. Thank You. Goodbye." I received this voice mail twice so far. 1st, I'm not Karen Miller, with no health insurance, and no medical procedure to do. 2nd, last time the call said procedure is denied and this time says approved. I can't 100% sure this is a spam call, maybe it's right person with wrong number. Suggestion to everyone, if you think any strange (or cold) call is really for you, never ever call back this 1-888 number or from the caller ID, always search and call directly to the official phone number from your reliable source, such as official websites, insurance card, doctor office, etc. Hope this help!

I received this voice mail and said calling from Epicore (possible this name) and my medical procedure has been denied. Both of my doctor and I will receive a letter and call back this 1-888 number if needed. 1st, the voice mail mentioned a person's name which is not me. Also, I don't have any medical insurance and procedure underway. Therefore, this is either calling to the wrong person or spam call. Suggestion to everyone, if you think any strange (or cold) call is really for you, never ever call back this 1-888 number or from the caller ID, always search and call directly to the official phone number from your reliable source, such as official websites, insurance card, etc. Hope this help!

Automated voice call did not identify who they were or what they wanted. Caller ID did not identify a company or person. The number contacted a relatives phone and an automated voice wanted to confirm my identity. Why would they contact a relative? Suspicious to me. They have called my relative 3 times! Came up as an unknown caller. Somehow this robocall linked my phone number to my dad (whom I have DMPOA for). Called at 8 am on a Saturday. (When I called the number back found the offices are open M--F, no weekend hours.) I declined to verify my or my dad's identity by pushing #1 or #2. They then said the call was re: mandated reporting concerning a procedure my dad was having. No upcoming procedures. How would they know who this was about, as I did not provide any identity?
