Man called and said he was Andrew Ortiz, a broker. Said he was calling about the cancellation of our timeshare. Said the parent company of our resort was "going public" and the SEC had ordered them to pay those who had "invested" in the company. Said we were entitled to 70 shares at $1080 per share and his NY company would "only take 2.85%" of the money we were going to receive. It's hogwash and garbage.

Caller spoke about time share and said we were sent two letters about points or shares, he was hard to understand, and since we own a timeshare I listened. He said something about a cancellation. He said he could not send anything in writing so I got the website, 1NY... and with the phone number it is clear to me that it is a scam phishing for timeshare owners. Do not be fooled.

Wanting to BUY our shares in a time share in Mexico. Saying the company is 'going public' very soon, and 'we should have gotten a package from them telling all about it.
