called my number asking for my mom (correct name) and about extending the warranty of the mazda she just bought less than a year ago. I have no say in that matter, needless to say. When I asked mom about it and if we should call the police, the woman on the other end of the line said, "Come and get me, jackass." then hung up. Yeah this is totally legit, right? (sarcasm)

Called twice in one day. I picked up the second time and a female told me that my warrenty was expired on my 2012 leased Honda. I asked her if she was from Honda, and she said she was from the Honda division of the warrenty company. I asked her point blank how she got my number and she hung up. I akready knew this was a scam from reading about it on other sites

I received 2 calls. Both times I answered and both times I was hung up on. I attempted to call them back and was informed that this number is no longer in service. Clearly the number is, since they called me from it. lol They must have a recording that answers all calls on the first ring with that message.

A guy Called saying they are underwriters for Ford & wanted to extend my warranty. Transferred me to a woman who told me my warranty had expired. When I told her that's not true she hung up on me! I'm on the DNC list as well. I thought this was illegal?

They called to let me know my warranty was up on my Honda Accord, started asking me a million questions about my car (which THEY called ME about!) and when I didn't know the answers the woman told me to "go outside and look." I'm in sales and I can't exactly ignore phone calls, otherwise I would not have picked up this unknown number. Anyway I let her give me her estimates etc because like I said I'm in sales and I at least like to be heard. She rambles off a bunch of info which I wasn't even listening to, then asks for my checking account # so i can pay. NEVER even gave me an estimate. I told her I'd have to think about it and call her back, she was like "well when would you call back?" and got really aggressive....I told her "even if I don't call back, I can't do it now anyway so I'm not sure why that matters to you" and she became hostile, gave me their 800 number, and hung up.

First a nice woman telling me my warranty on my car was past due and she was bringing up my discounts and quote. Then a very loud, aggressive and mean guy got on the phone and was yelling at me for not renewing or giving him a credit card. Then started throwing insults at me and hung up.

They called me and hung up when I answered. When they called back, I picked up and was stuck on the phone for 5 minutes while they went on and on about my warranty being expired and how they could cover me. All of the sudden, someone came on the line claiming to be a manager and gave me the same information. I cut him off after about two minutes and said I wouldn't be going with this (not only is it totally fake, but CRAZY expensive), and he said, "Why would you not want to go with this plan honey?" and that's when I said thanks for calling and hung up.

They called two weeks ago to ask if I had received the material they sent about an extended warranty for my Acura. I said I hadn't and they quoted my old address. I was taking care of my kids at the time so I updated my address and asked them to resend the materials so I could review them. Today they called to see if I received the materials. I said I never did, so the lady on the other end starts getting belligerent with me! Saying 'well I don't know what I can do for you now, I mailed those personally, and now you're overdue for coverage and in financial trouble.' Then she puts the supervisor on and was very pushy, stating that he doesn't know if he can help me now since I'm 120 days overdue for warranty and I'm gonna be in financial trouble if I don't sign up. I immediately called him out and said I service my car exclusively at Acura and when they are ready to offer me an extended warranty, I will consider it. And then I told him he and his associate are pushy and harassing me and if they are supposedly trying to sell me a service, they're doing it the wrong way. He hung up as soon as he realized I wasn't going to fall for his scam. When I tried to call back, all I get is a busy signal.

An older woman called and said I was eligible for an extended warranty on my car, she said anything mechanical would be covered even though it's a 4-year old car with 76k miles on it! I knew then it was a scam! When I asked the cost of the "warranty" she transfered me to her "manager". When I asked him the cost and told him that my husband is a mechanic he hung up on me. SCAM - BEWARE!!

Ken said he was from the toyota warranty & did a spill about the warranty on my car being out and offered me a new bumper to bumper warranty for $599 down & $160 a month for the next 15 months! I asked how many miles did it cover and he said 100k....I felt like something was fishy so then started racking his brain asking how much sense did it make me for me to pay $3000 to be only be covered another 38k miles!! Or even better than that...if I've put 62k miles on my car in 2 years...why would I agree to pay that for such little mile coverage. He then said ok, we can give you an extra 100k miles and just take away some of the coverage, GPS/Brakes...for the same cost! I said well I would not give out this amount of $$ without 1st talking to my husband, he said fine (very rudely) I will call back Saturday in case he himself has any questions for me. I said I tell you what, give me your # & we will call you...HE HUNG UP ON ME!!! haha...So much for the do not call list that I'm on!

received two calls on same day at my work number. caller id said "hackensack nj". they asked to speak to me, calling me by first and last name. I was not at work, but that's what's on my vm, so that's what they used. never identified themselves nor left message. it's a typical scam call. use a block program on your cell phones, folks. they work. The Do Not Call list is a farce. too many loopholes.

They called using a NJ phone #, but the caller on the VM is a non-English speaker ... so I'm not sure WHERE the call actually originated. I think these overseas telemarketers BUY phone lines in the U.S. I'm on the DoNotCall list ... does that even mean anything anymore. This particular caller tries to reach me at least once a week ... please make it stop.
