The number is a United States wireline/cellular style number; no conclusive ownership information available from authoritative sources in this response. 2. Online discussions and lookup services show mixed reports including spam/robocall warnings from user contributed databases. 3. Indications lean toward possible telemarketing or nuisance calls in some reports, but reliability is inconsistent across sources. 4. 132No caller ID, no voice message, but it was actually Amazon Customer Service calling about failed delivery. The nice human helped me and took my complaint without being defensive!!! The delivery failure was because the driver could not wait 10 minutes for the business to open. NOT the driver’s fault. This is a scheduling problem, NOT a delivery problem. I have the business hours clearly listed for this address on my Amazon account. This is for my private mailbox at a UPS Store which has been at this location for decades!
Called my number about 5 times with a message saying "the number I was calling had an inbox that is full" on the 6th try it was an amazon support helping an amazon flex driver find my location.
Amazon agent called me with this number after requesting a call from Amazon for help on an item I never received. The gentleman processed a Full Refund for me. This is a Legit number.
Nice to you but do not solve the issue. Instead, they put you hold and after ten minutes, they hang up on you. Called back and was place on hold for over twenty minutes and still holding. Very poor business practice.
A atendente com sotaque boliviano e fala informal , insistência excessiva para que eu registrasse um cartão e me negou em pagar a minha conta com o pix.Desliguei ,pois desconfiei de golpe.

I interacted with Amazon customer service 11/12/22 through the website where I opted they call me. In the call Amazon Rep did a credit for a package that never arrived and/or delivered to a wrong address… I got the refund right away to my account. This # showed up on cell phone log.. so I consider it a legitimate # and call from Amazon. Call came during they day after I asked them to call.
Caller said they were from Amazon wanting to help me set up 2 step verification. Totally fake

Jeff’s post is correct. Most spam calls DO NOT project the actual number they are calling from. I understand there is some reason effort to prevent ghost caller ids, god knows when. In the meantime we need to be careful who’s number we block. Am I wrong?

This number may be Amazon customer service, but it is a scam. It's someone using Amazon's real number. My call was someone by the name of Richard telling me that my credit card was used to pay $1200 for an iPhone. I never answered the call, that's the message that they leave every time. I called Amazon and they said it was a scam. I know it's possible to use a real number. About a month ago someone called me using my own cell number. When I looked at the caller ID it was my own name.

I had an issue with an order that I thought was a scam. I chatted with Amazon customer service online, and then it asked if I wanted a phone call from customer service to discuss my order. I typed in my phone number and they called back immediately. The lady was very nice and friendly. She got the situation taken care of and said that a mistake had been made and that they are refunding the amount of the purchase that was messed up. This is a trustworthy number as long as you’re the one requesting the callback and you have an account with Amazon. If not, and you get an unsolicited call and/or don’t have an Amazon account, then it’s probably someone who’s spoofed Amazon’s legit customer service number.

This is a SCAM, called me at 10pm. Called 3 times in a row and left a voicemail of them hanging up. Please don't trust the positive reviews of this number. I had to leave a reviews just to keep it updated that this is NOT amazon.
A return call from amazon cust. service. They did not ask for any personnel info. They handled my return request. No problems or issues with this number.
I just requested a call from Amazon they called me twice 1 with this caller id and once from an 888 number
Received a call that said it was Amazon Customer Service and then asked for my name. I hung up and contacted Amazon - they have no record of reaching out to me. Amazon asked me to report it. This is likely a scam spoofing a real number as stated above.
Could not understand what they were saying. Does anyone speak English any more that you can understand.
I rec'd a cal from 206-922-0880. When I checked my voicemail it said amazon.com then music comes on then a live person comes on a voicemail. When I chatted with Amazon online they said nothing is showing up that I was called.
I got this number from Amazon.com contact us page and I spent 30 mins talking to a rep about unknown charges on my amazon account and they made sure I got my refund. This number is 100% legit!
Very charming and polite. Solved my issues without any problems.
I filled out the form on Amazon.com and this is the number they called from when they said they would call so this is a trustworthy number
Like others this number called claiming that it needed to verify an $800 purchase. When I then asked the Indian man, "How do I know this is really Amazon?" He hung up on me. When I called the REAL AMAZON and asked about this the rep told me that they "would not call me about a suspicious charge and it was a scam" This "might" also be a legitimate Amazon phone number, however it is possible for these scammer idiots to "spoof" the number and have it show up on your phone. Be careful about what you tell anyone calling from this number until you are CERTAIN it is legitimate, or tell them you will call them back.
Amazon callback Legitimate number.
Caller pretended to be Amazon technical support. Scammer requested Ebay and Nordstrom gift cards to help fix my parents account and protect them from outside intrusion. DO NOT TRUST THIS NUMBER!!!!
They said they were from Amazon Customer service and left me a message to confirm that I made at charge at noon for $800. I then called the correct amazon dept and she said we never call customers about a purchase. I gave her this number to report. Do not call this number.
Received a repeated robocall in the middle of the night from this number, checked with Amazon customer service on 9.2.2020 and got a confirmation that this is not their number: Amazon customer service does not call people in odd hours. I was given a direct instruction to ignore all of these calls. Amazon labeled it as scam.
They were unhappy that I rated the Amazon Echo Auto so low on amazon.com and wanted to try to learn more.
The number itself was amazon, but it was obviously spoofed. Before I even answered it was a robot recording. It thanked new for calling Amazon (I didn't) and asked if I was calling about my order of a professional make up case (never ordered one) Hung up and they called 3 more times with the same message

you know, I've read the other comments and in my case they left a message saying I was going to be billed this month for $32.14 for this month Amazon prime. When t called back that number an Amazon CSR said they would never make a call like that nor was the amount accurate I was quoted. Somehow someone is hacking their # and sending fake messages. The odd thing is the VM didn't ask me for anything nor did anyone when I called that # back. In fact, the rep knew all my Amazon information. Strange that this looks like it's been going on for some time now. Perhaps the call would have been different had I picked up the phone.
Amazon Customer Service doesn't just call people outright. You contact them by getting online to indicate whether you want to chat(text), or have a rep call you. If you get a call out of the blue, most likely somebody is spoofing Amazon's CS#.
called me twice. i called back and they wanted to send my phone a password. i told them no. then they wanted my email address. i told them i was not giving anything to them as they called me. they said that they didnt call me. i asked why they call consumers, they said they dont. i told her you called me twice. she hung up on me.

I was in a chat with Amazon customer service. The rep said they'd have someone call me, and then my phone rang with this number. The guy did ask "why are you calling today?" I explained that the chat rep said they'd have someone contact me, so she must have connected him to my number. Then, he proceeded to help me. As others said, he had full access to the Amazon database, he didn't ask for any personal details, and he was helpful. It sounds like some people are spoofing the number, but the number itself is valid for Amazon.
Number called me 3 times leaving me voicemails asking me for the name on my amazon account. Different people each time. All calls within two minutes. I don’t have an amazon account. SCAM
I don't shop on Amazon this number called me and asked what I needed. Then mumbled some nonsense and said let me check when I asked for a supervisor. Sbrooks
