8Automated message, claimed to be Wellcare. Knew my first and last name
I took the call, and it was a recorded message asking me to confirm my name (which was correct) by saying Yes or No. I didn't say anything, so it repeated the question. I stayed silent. It then said, "Thanks for passing the message along!" and hung up. Sounds very sketchy; I blocked the number.
This number called me and told me that I had a prescription order. I don’t take any medication so I tried to call it back and it said your prescription is confirmed and hangs up.
Automated machine asking personal questions to verify identity. Unable to speak to live person. Strongly suspected it to be a scam. I hung up and will not take their calls.
This is a specialty pharmacy reaching out to arrange a delivery.
Wellcare Insurance called, claiming there was a break in my contract due to non-payment and that I had incurred a penalty. I immediately questioned the validity of their claim, telling them it was impossible. Suspecting it was a scam, I instructed them to send any information by mail, which they seemed reluctant to do. Their approach and the unfounded accusations strongly suggested they were scam artists attempting to pressure me into providing personal information.
