A concise report based on publicly available information up to now indicates the number is a US based line that has appeared in several telemarketing or robocall contexts. No definitive owner is publicly verifiable, and reports are mixed, with multiple sources flagging potential spam characteristics. Caution is advised when interacting with this number. 1. Ownership/type: The exact owner is not publicly verifiable; the number appears to be a US mobile style North American Numbering Plan (NANP) line, often used by telemarketers or third party services. No confirmed corporate or institutional affiliation is publicly documented. 2. Online sentiment: Several consumer forums and spam report platforms show mixed or negative notes about similar looking numbers, with patterns of unsolicited messages or calls reported by users. Reports vary by source, with some users labeling it as spam or suspicious activity. 3. Association with abuse: There are multiple indications in public spam databases and call report sites that numbers in this category are used for telemarketing, robocalls, or potential scams. Specific confirmation for this exact number remains uncertain, but caution is warranted based on similar reports. 4. Public exposure/leaks: Public directories and scam report databases sometimes include numbers in this range, especially if they have appeared in spam campaigns. Without a confirmed identity, it may appear in user generated reports or blocklists, suggesting some exposure but not definitive leakage from a breach. 5. Caller advisability: Answering is not recommended unless the caller is expected or verified. If privacy is a concern, let the call go to voicemail, and consider blocking or reporting to your carrier or a spam filtering service. Since exact ownership is unclear, treating it as potentially unwanted is prudent.

Calling asking for random employees that do not exist in our company. Total advertisement scam. Thick Indian accent, both man and woman, trying to get to someone. I ask what the calls are about and they dodge the questions or try to say the matter is related to "said employee."
Asking if I wanted a free magazine subscription.

If no message is left I consider the call unsafe and harrassment.

Somehow obtained my work number, calls twice a day everyday. I used to answer nobody on the other end. No longer answer but still see missed call twice a day. So much for being on the do not call registry.
When they called I paused and said in a deep, slow, sexy voice: "So, what are you wearing". And they hung up. Hopefully also deleting my # :-)
Shows up as CouchSurfing on google maps... called - left no message
I've gotten so many calls from guys like these ,I've started a strategy by either ask them to call me back at my LAN line which I give them my local PD. Or I give in to tge conversation with all bad information, an agree for their sales person to show up. We answer the door with our two barking Pitbulls, denying ever asking them to come out, advising that these vists happen all them an they should complain to the list they get our name from. Letting the dogs lung all the time. I SICK OF IT.
Pushing trade magazines; I get too many already. WILL NOT take me off their list.
I called the number back. Unfortunately I was unable to make out the first name, but the automated call attendant said ^&* Marketing. Some research firm calling to perform a survey of some type.
Calls every day - no clue why.
