The woman said she was doing a healthcare survey and asked me if I or anyone in the home worked in marketing, advertising, tv, or healthcare. When I told her my daughter is a nurse she said ok, end of interview and Bye. What the heck?

Got this call out of the blue but I don't answer calls for whom I don't know the number/caller. Looking at the above poster's info (thank you, by the way), and Googling the Salvatore Pisani name, it appears he's dead. Perhaps the Hodgkins caught up with him. Such a waste, harassing other people on the phone when you should be out enjoying life. Oh well.

Dear Fellow Victims: I feel that since these companies feel they can invade our homes and privacy, then we can do the same to them with legally obtainable information from the internet (hey, if they want to make their lives public, that's their decision). Here's some information about the company that called you and the directors of the company. The company is called the LogitGroup Inc. Their tag line is "the GO TO people". They are a company that conducts market research. Right now in Ontario we are undergoing provincial elections in June 2014 and a number of interested parties are contracting the LogitGroup to conduct polling for political purposes. This is most likely why you have been called as of late. NOTE: THEY ARE EXEMPT FROM THE "DO NOT CALL LIST"! Thus, even though you may be on the DNC list, they can still call you for political polling. I suggest we urge our MPs, MPPs and the CRTC to change the regulations of the DNC list to include pollsters. The problem with their service is that: 1) They don't leave messages 2) They call and call relentlessly until you answer their survey 3) When you call the number back, you are directed to a recording that tells you they are a legitimate company that is not trying to sell you anything and that they will try calling you again later. The problem with point #3 is that they should allow you to leave a message and ask them to remove your phone number from their calling list. It is because they do not allow for this that I conducted the following research. Also, his home and office will at first pretend that they don't know who you're asking for and that you have the wrong number. If you press a bit further and are confident or creative, you can get them to admit that it is indeed Sam's house or work that you have reached. You can also try the company's CEO, but I think contacting Sam should suffice as he is more involved with the day-to-day operations of the company.
