A concise factual review of public online signals indicates the number +1 (609) 225 5799 is associated with telecommunication activity and robo/cyber fraud alerts in third party risk databases. Several sources flag it as a potentially suspicious or robocall related line, with warnings suggesting caution when answering. 1. Ownership or type: Listed as a US number (New Jersey area code 609) and described in reports as a telemarketing/robocall type line or phishing attempt, not clearly linked to a verified business or personal owner. This points to a carrier assigned landline or VoIP number used for automated calls rather than a known consumer contact. 2. Online chatter: Reports appear on call tracking and scam alert sites, with warnings of phishing robocalls and impersonation messages, including messages about fraud prevention and urgen like prompts. User generated entries frequently label it as untrustworthy or suspicious. 3. Association with scams: Strong signals from spam/robocall databases classify it as a phishing robocall vector, sometimes with transcripts or examples of scam prompts. Multiple sources advise caution and avoiding interaction. 4. Public exposure/leak status: The number shows up in public facing scam/telemarketing databases and call report platforms, indicating it is publicly indexed in such directories. There is no clear indication of a credible data breach or leak tying it to a specific household or business, but it is widely visible in telephony threat datasets. 5. Advisability of answering: Given the prevalence of scam signals and robocall classifications, answering or returning calls is not advisable. Do not engage, and consider blocking or reporting from a call management application or carrier tools. Note: If no reliable, verifiable sources directly confirming the number’s current owner or definitive classification could be located, that limitation would apply here. However, the available public signals consistently point toward a risky telecommunication/scam context rather than a legitimate personal or business contact.

El número 609225-5799 ha sido asignado a Stock market
These people should all be thrown in jail. I answered the phone and no one said anything, but I hearda lot of voices in the background - I'm assuming it's a bunch of scammers calling a bunch of people. And now they know my number is good, since I answered, so they can sell it. I need to answer my phone because Iam expecting calls from unfamiliar numbers (new contacts) -so screw these people. Why aren't they getting arrested??

Friday, 2:54 PM. Called asking to speak with (my name). Female, south asian accent, hard to place. Said they were calling from Nasdaq(?) or something. Asked if I am involved with the stock market. I said yes. Asked something else about stocks or brokers, I told them I have a company manage my portfolio. Asked who my broker is, I told them that's private information, she then said she has one last question, something vague. Then said goodbye after that. My tone probably gave it away that I wasn't gullible and she saved face.
They Have called me every Monday for the past 4 weeks, and called on a Tuesday Aswell, even after being blocked. Phone number prefix says new Jersey, I'm from Canada. Most definitely a Scam or telemarketer. They have also left silent voicemails.
Called in the evening. Asking about my personal banking activity.
Harrassment
