They call me, they are called Cenlar for short and they service mortgage loans for Citi mortgage and other companies. They suck. I got caught up on my mortgage months ago and they are still calling me. Very annoying.

This is a number for Cenlar. Central Loan Administration. Unfortunately they do come up as a spam number. And they also call multiple times a day. Their real number is 800-242-7178. I've called that number and told them if you want someone to pick up the phone do not use a number that comes across as spam. I also told them to put me on their do not call list. They harass about loan payments way too early in the process.

Called asking for the last 4 of my SSN. Doubtful at first but they were able to verify all my info and new address of my recently purchased home. The only people with this address are utility/gas/water/electric/loan. It turn out my loan was transferred to another company and they just call to welcome, but I already received info about this in the mail so I'm awared of it.

I get many calls from this number and usually a recorded message is left on the voice mail. It says to call Central Loan Adminstration at 800-242-7178. I finally got sick of this and called and they asked for my loan number... I said what loan?... they said mortgage loan... I said what company... they said they don't know... then they asked for my social security number but of course I was not going to give that. If this is not legit, which it doesn't sound like, they will get an unsuspecting victim, probably a senior, to provide their social security number and then their identity could be gone (probably after they get a little more information that the senior would probably provide on the phone).

I had just Refi'd my house and I get a call from this number wanting to verify the refi information. When I asked why, they said that my loan had been sold to them from the bank I refinanced through. I told them no one said my load had been sold and I won't verify any information with anyone over the phone like this. Come to find out, my bank did not sell my load. I have no idea what the intention was for these guys, but it is not good.
