A preliminary scan suggests the number +1 647 776 0422 is likely a Toronto area Canadian number (647) rather than a U.S. number, and it has been mentioned in contexts related to telemarketing or robocalls in public reports. Limited reliable, verifiable information specific to this exact international variant is available here, so caution is advised before engaging. 1. Ownership/type: The number appears to be a telecom reassigned or dynamically assigned Canadian number in the 647 area, not a clearly identifiable business line or official institution based on generic public reports. Public sources do not confirm a definitive owner or entity for this exact sequence. 2. Online feedback: Public discussions and scam/report aggregators show similar 647 range numbers frequently labeled as robocalls or telemarketing; however, specific entries for +1 647 776 0422 are not consistently verifiable across sources. Reports about nearby 647 numbers include complaints about harassment and robocall characteristics. 3. Scam/abuse association: There is reason to suspect potential unsolicited contact patterns (robocalls, telemarketing) associated with numbers in this vicinity, but a conclusive link to fraud, phishing, or a specific scam for this exact number cannot be established from available public entries. 4. Public exposure/leak status: Data for this exact number is not clearly present in widely cited leak databases or public directories; similar 647 numbers do appear in scam report databases, suggesting that some exposure risk exists in the broader prefix, but definitive exposure for +1 647 776 0422 is not confirmed. 5. Advisory on answering: Given the lack of verifiable, authoritative information about this exact number and the prevalence of nuisance calls in the 647 area, answering or returning calls is not recommended. Let messages accumulate or block the number if it appears in your call log.

3rd call I've gotten from this number since August, number was blocked after the first call, got a call today with a robo voicemail asking me to participate in a survey (didn't specify what it was for) telling to me press 1 to get a text with a link to the survey or press 9 to no longer receive the calls.

Decided to answer. They send you a text message to a survey. Survey was about government services and whether I am happy with it. Only took a few minutes.

This is a spam telemarketing survey automated call that tries to get you to call them back to do a survey. It's a scam, do not pick up, do not call back, block the number.

Get the occasional call from these people. Never answered. Number has been blocked and marked "Potential Spam" by Rogers. Yeah I get it. Telemarketing is a thing but nobody likes it and you're just annoying people on the phone.
