I got an automated call on my cell from "ATT". Said my account was suspended. Asked for my social security last 4 digits. Smelled wrong, so I called ATT and they said SCAM! FRAUD!. Att guy said they don't call asking for that info period.

If you receive a call from a person with a near East,hang, I repeat hang up. These are scammers who will tell you that your computer has a bug or your telephone lines have run afoul. I fell one time and it cost me.

Stupid, stupid, stupid. We have a prepaid Tracfone and the only people who have our number is family living overseas !!!! Yet, scum bugs, POS are able to find our name to make stupid call. If number belongs to AT&T, they are stupid for not protecting their # and making it so easy for spammers to spoof the number and make stupid scam calls. AT&T - USA's stupid phone company and scammer's best friend !!!!

Someone is spoofing this number (which ID shows is AT&T) to commit fraud. They asked me to answer a short survey about customer satisfaction in return for a $20 credit to my wireless ATT account. I fell for it. I gave them my passcode and last four of SS#. Fortunately, as soon as I hung up, I felt something wasn't right. I immediately called AT&T Global Fraud department and reported it. The scammers had already added a new sign-in and authorized user to my ATT account. They had also gone to Best Buy and attempted to purchase equipment. So glad I caught this quickly and At&T shut them out of my account.

Called my Verizon cell phone on friday January 16,2014 and I do not have service with at&t but the guy who called pretended to be from that company asking me for my name and asked if I knew person that actually know.I like to knos how they got my number and why they would be calling my cell phone for no reason at all. This is for sure a scam.

Called my non ATT cell phone about the U-Verse account, I do not have U-verse, just the standard ATT slow mo wireless.. I told him he was a scammer n hung up, then called the # back from att landline and lady tells me "might have been a COLD call" but she didn't think att did that, she ck'd my account and couldn't fine any reason for them to call me!
