A concise factual report could not be completed here due to lack of real time verification access. The number appears to be a toll free US line, but reliable, up to date details about ownership, legitimacy, and exposure could not be confirmed in this response. Proceeding without verified sources would risk inaccuracy. 1. Ownership/type: A toll free US number (starts with 1 888) commonly used by companies or service providers; exact owner or purpose cannot be confirmed without fresh, verifiable lookup. 2. Online discussion: Public postings and user reports exist on scam/telemarketing aggregators, but without precise, current matching data for this exact 188884382427, details remain unclear. 3. Scam/abuse risk: Toll free numbers frequently appear in reports of impersonation, telemarketing, or fraud; cannot conclusively label this specific number as always harmful without corroborated sources. 4. Public exposure: Toll free numbers often appear in public directories or spam report databases; determination of exposure for this exact sequence requires precise cross checking against current datasets. 5. Call back advisability: Given typical risks associated with unknown toll free numbers in online discussions, answering or returning calls may be unnecessary unless verification confirms trustworthiness.

11calling several times,never leaving a message
No Subject Provided received in Slidell, Louisiana. Calling with recorded message (robocalls)
vickie miles reportó el número 888-4382427 como Charter
Calls 8+ times a day.
Robo call claiming to be from Spectrum reminding me of an appointment today. I have done no business with this company. Yesterday I received a similar call from 480-363-4005 reminding me of appointment today.
they called me shortly after the guy came to connect my internet, confirming it's been done and if I wanted to do a survey of my service
They left me a message claiming to be Charter Spectrum needing to resolve an address issue. Sounding "phishy." I called Charter's customer service directly and they verified this was a phishing scam. Within half an hour the 888 number called me again, and I was ready: I answered in Spanish, and he just kept on doing his talk like I, a "non English speaking immigrant" was going to understand. So I coughed "loser" and "get a life" repeatedly over his talking before I hung up. No trouble from them since. But just in case, I have "gas sound effects" on pause on YouTube for when they do call back.
This number calls several times every week. Very annoying.
They left a msg that they had made the changes I'd requested to my acct and to call them back if I did not mean to make these changes. I'd say probably phishing for info. I've made no changes to my acct And no legitimate company calls you on a Sunday, especially before noon. Jerks. For goddess sakes don't call them back and give them any information.
when they call you, call them back and play that stupid commercial back to them, they love it.
The calls from this number are getting out of control! They are calling several times daily - and I don't even have Charter! I don't know why they are even calling me or how they got my number. I've been very careful not to give out my number and yet I still get these calls. As far as I'm concerned, that's harassment!
