AI Analysis

Limited information: The number has been associated with two distinct, possibly unrelated activities based on user comments. Firstly, attempts to gather potentially sensitive employee information from workplaces under the guise of employment verification, including inappropriate questions about behavior and payroll dates. Secondly, instances of callers inquiring about unknown individuals followed by subsequent loan offer SMS from Lendcor. **No direct evidence of malicious intent beyond suspicious inquiry behavior and potential phishing/scam attempts.**

Person called looking for somebody I do not know then shortly thereafter I received an SMS offering a loan from Lendcor

13 Jun 2019

A lady contacted our workplace wanting to "confirm" employment for one of our staff members - keep in mind, we are based in the Eastern Cape, and this is an individual based in Durban. She asked inappropriate questions, which is not typical of someone that is wanting to confirm employment, such as how the employee behaves at work and whether or not the employee has faced disciplinary action. She also wanted to know when the employee gets paid (wanting the date specifically).
