The guy who could not speak English properly told me that I asked for insurance and that's why he is calling. He knew my name and I don't know how he got it. I said I didn't ask for insurance and hung up.

During the past two weeks I have received at least three phone calls per day from this number 087350888. I believe that this is MiWay Insurance Telemarketing. They do not talk to you, but they carry on calling.

I've been receiving very annoying phone calls from 087 350 888 and as you pick up the phone, the person doesn't say anything and then hangs up. its been going on since March 2014. you cant even call the number cos its either "congested" and it hangs ups immediately.

This number keeps calling and IF it is a call centre number it needs to be fixed ASAP. Calls at 18:00, multiple calls and unacceptable that it is a dropped line. I am not a client and I have opted out of direct marketing. Next call will be reported.

Word on the internet is that this is either a MiWay or Outsurance autodialer. It is trying to connect you to a call agent based on leads they have in their databases. Many times, however, there is nobody on the other end and it simply disconnects. If you have opted out of the national DMA (Direct Marketing Association of South Africa) database, the company responsible might be in violation of rules as both Outsurance and MiWay are members of DMA. This number has called me multiple times, and when you return the call it does not work. There is never an agent on the other end.
