Check a screenshot with AI: is it a scam?
ProGot a message, a chat or a web page you’re not sure about? Upload a screenshot and the AI reads it for you: whether it looks like a scam, where it seems to come from, who it pretends to be, the warning signs and what to do next. Part of NoCall Pro: 2 AI checks every 24 hours and 20 a month.
How it works
- Take a screenshot of the message, chat, email or web page. Cover any password, code or card number first.
- Choose it here, or drop it on the box. We make it smaller on your device, and nothing is sent yet.
- Press “Check the screenshot”. The AI reads it, usually in under half a minute.
- Read the answer: the verdict, the warning signs, what it asks you to do and the steps to take.
What each answer means
- This looks like a scam
- It has clear signs of a scam. Don’t pay, don’t share codes or personal details, and don’t reply or call back.
- This looks suspicious
- It has some warning signs. Don’t do what it asks until you’ve confirmed it through official channels.
- No clear signs of a scam found
- The AI found nothing typical of a scam, but that isn’t a guarantee. Before you pay or share anything, verify it through official channels.
- The AI can’t tell from this
- There wasn’t enough readable content to judge. This check wasn’t counted, so you can try again with a clearer image or the full text.
What the AI looks for
- Urgency or threats: an account about to be blocked, a fine about to go up, a parcel about to be returned.
- Requests for money, codes or personal details, especially by an unusual method such as gift cards, crypto or a transfer to a private person.
- Links whose domain doesn’t match the brand, shortened links and lookalike names.
- A sender that doesn’t fit, such as a mobile number for a bank or a free email address for a company.
- Someone pretending to be a bank, a delivery company, an agency or a relative with a new number.
- Pressure to move the conversation to another app, or to install something.

Where it works
Every NoCall edition. The AI answers in the language of the edition you’re using and tailors its advice to that edition’s country: its official channels and the scams that are common there.
When you press the button, what you add here is sent to NoCall’s AI provider, Anthropic, only to produce this answer. NoCall doesn’t store it: we only record when you used a check, to apply the usage limits.
Frequently asked questions
What can I upload?
A screenshot or a photo of a text message, a WhatsApp or Telegram chat, a social media message, an email or a web page. JPG, PNG, WebP and most phone photos work. One image per check.
Is my screenshot stored?
No. When you press the button, the image is sent to NoCall’s AI provider, Anthropic, only to produce this answer, and NoCall doesn’t store it. We only record when you used the check. Cover passwords, codes and card numbers before you take it.
Does “No clear signs of a scam found” mean I can trust it?
No. It means the AI found nothing typical of a scam in what you showed it. Scammers change their tricks, so before you pay or share anything, check it through the official website or phone number of whoever it claims to be.
How many checks can I do?
NoCall Pro includes 2 AI checks every 24 hours and 20 per calendar month, shared across all the AI tools. If the AI can’t read the image or doesn’t answer, the check isn’t counted and you can try again.
Why is it a Pro feature?
Each check is read by an AI model, which costs money every time it runs. NoCall Pro covers that cost, which is why the AI checks are part of it.
