Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about NoCall, blocking spam calls, and protecting yourself from phone scams in Spain.

What is NoCall?
NoCall is a community platform to protect against spam calls in Spain. It combines a collaborative database with more than 6,698 numbers flagged as spam and a free ad-supported phone app that automatically blocks unwanted calls using Apple’s CallKit technology.
Is NoCall free?
NoCall has a free ad-supported plan that lets you search numbers, read community reports, and report spam calls. Premium removes ads and unlocks advanced features such as automatic call blocking, background sync, and filtering of suspicious SMS.
How does automatic blocking work?
The NoCall app uses the iOS CallKit extension to block calls and SMS before they reach your phone. It syncs the community spam database directly on your device, so blocking can work even without an internet connection. Whenever the community reports a new number, your block list updates automatically.
How can I report a number?
You can report a number in two ways: from the NoCall app (fastest) or on our website by searching the number and using the report button. You don’t need an account — reports are anonymous. Just provide the number and category (telemarketing, scam, debt collection, etc.).
How many numbers are in the database?
NoCall’s database currently contains more than 6,698 numbers identified as spam, backed by more than 0 real user reports in Spain. The database grows every day thanks to community contributions.
Does it work on Android?
NoCall’s website works on any device — you can search numbers and report spam from Android without issues. The app with automatic blocking is currently available for supported iOS devices. We are evaluating an Android version in the future.
Is my data safe?
NoCall does not collect personal data. Reports are fully anonymous — we don’t store your name, email, or phone number. The block database syncs directly to your device and call filtering runs locally on your phone without sending that information to a server.
How do I opt out with the Robinson List?
The Robinson List is a free service managed by Adigital that lets people in Spain opt out of unwanted marketing. To register, visit listarobinson.es, create an account, and register the channels where you don’t want marketing (phone, email, SMS, etc.). Companies must consult this list before direct marketing campaigns. Note that the Robinson List does not block scam calls — use NoCall for that.
