Is this chat a scam? Check it with AI
Pro“Hi mum, this is my new number”, an investment that can’t lose, a support agent who needs a code, a buyer who wants to pay outside the app. Paste the conversation and the AI tells you which scam pattern it follows, quotes the messages that give it away and says what to do and where to report it. Part of NoCall Pro.
How it works
- Open the conversation and copy the messages (or export the chat as text).
- Delete names, addresses and anything personal you don’t need. We also hide phone numbers, emails, IBANs and card numbers before the AI reads it.
- Paste it and choose the app if you like. Press “Check the chat”: nothing is sent before that.
- Read the answer: the verdict, the pattern, the messages that give it away, what to do and where to report it.
What each answer means
- This looks like a scam
- It has clear signs of a scam. Don’t pay, don’t share codes or personal details, and don’t reply or call back.
- This looks suspicious
- It has some warning signs. Don’t do what it asks until you’ve confirmed it through official channels.
- No clear signs of a scam found
- The AI found nothing typical of a scam, but that isn’t a guarantee. Before you pay or share anything, verify it through official channels.
- The AI can’t tell from this
- There wasn’t enough readable content to judge. This check wasn’t counted, so you can try again with a clearer image or the full text.
What the AI looks for
- A relative or friend writing from a “new number” who needs money urgently.
- Someone you met online who soon talks about money, investments or a problem only you can solve.
- A “support agent”, bank or courier asking for a code, remote access or a payment.
- A buyer or seller who wants to pay, ship or keep chatting outside the marketplace app.
- Easy money: paid likes, “tasks”, guaranteed returns, crypto or a prize you never entered for.
- Pressure and secrecy: do it now, don’t call me, don’t tell anyone.

Where it works
Every NoCall edition. The AI answers in the language of the edition you’re using and tailors its advice to that edition’s country: where to report and the scams that are common there.
When you press the button, what you add here is sent to NoCall’s AI provider, Anthropic, only to produce this answer. NoCall doesn’t store it: we only record when you used a check, to apply the usage limits.
Frequently asked questions
Which chats can it check?
Any conversation you can copy as text: WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, SMS or the chat of a marketplace such as Wallapop or Vinted. Up to 10,000 characters per check.
What happens to my personal data?
Delete what you don’t need before you paste. When you press the button, NoCall hides the phone numbers, email addresses, IBANs, card numbers and ID numbers it recognises, then sends the rest to its AI provider, Anthropic, only to produce this answer. NoCall doesn’t store the conversation.
The answer quotes my messages. Where do the quotes come from?
From the conversation you pasted. NoCall only shows a quote if those exact words are in your text, so the AI can’t put words in anyone’s mouth.
Does “No clear signs of a scam found” mean I can trust the person?
No. It means the AI found nothing typical of a scam in what you pasted. If someone asks for money or a code, call them on the number you already had, or check through the official app or website.
