“Idiots, spooks or scamsters, take your pick. Hello Peter has an answer re this number, allegedly from the "Telkom Social Media Team," no further contact details provided. Such team does not exist. They have a "Social Media SUPPORT Team" - which is something completely different. Besides: Social media support would have little reason to call landlines. Not much tweeting and texting going on via fixed lines, last time I checked. Further: many ppl here who actually get to speak to a human, report entirely different alleged reasons for being called. Perhaps these fools should make up their mind who or what they are supposed to be.”

“Supposedly Telkom offering me Wifi services, but I have Wifi????? When I said, but I have Wifi, I was told they are aware, but the system is offline, so they cant check. So strange. I won't trust such call centres.”
